About the project
REVIT delivers a project-based learning (PBL) renewable energy curriculum aligned to science for grades 8–12, introducing students to clean energy careers and supporting their transition to college-level programs, clean energy careers and supports transitions to college-level programs. The pilot course generated such strong student demand that the pilot school now offers three sections of the project- based and science- aligned CTE course. Beyond the classroom, REVIT also offers free community education workshops as well as continuing education classes for classroom instructors, first responders and fueling station technicians.
What is Renewable Energy?
Renewable Energy is energy that can be replenished through natural processes. Some of these include Solar Power, Wind Power, and Hydro power. Solar panels absorb energy from sunlight, while turbines are used to generate electricity from both wind and water.
